The National Seminar December 2010 summarized that the piloting art teachers have experienced

  • that art processes with an open, creative, and inter-active approach result in happy, enthusiastic, concentrated, and very active Vietnamese students
  • that the students’ self-awareness, responsibility, self-reliance, communication, cooperation, cultural awareness, and life skills are stimulated
  • that students in learner centered, integrated, and interactive processes get a deeper understanding of themselves and their surrounding world

Based on these experiences SAEPS was  extended 5 more years 2011-2015

I see children as plants with solid roots and aptitudes, when they enter school. Teachers are professional facilitators, who know what enzyme to add to the water to make the plants grow”
